Burst Mode

IMG_4125One of my absolute favorite settings on my camera (and Adam’s) is burst mode. When engaged, the camera will take about 4-5 pictures a second giving you the opportunity to catch some pretty incredible moments in action.

Of course, this would be great for sports activities and kids running around the park, but we like to use it for finding ways to perfect our air guitar and toe touches. During our walk from Fira to Oia in Santorini we found a deserted part of the trail and got to work. Below you can see a few of the results from our burst mode session. As we took turns passing the camera down the line, Jared managed to capture everyone’s jump on slow-motion video, an awesome new feature on his iPhone. Hopefully I can persuade him to share those with me someday because they are perfection.

If you have this feature on your camera, I highly recommend giving it a shot : )

What are you up to this weekend? Will you be celebrating the first official day of summer (and the “longest” day of the year)? We will be keeping it casual, enjoying the sunshine and trying to maintain our sweet tans. Hopefully we’ll smoke some meats (ribs, please, Adam!) and catch up on our reading. Whatever you get up to I hope it’s great fun!
