Saturday Night at the Movies

What an excellent Saturday I have had! I arose at a decent hour without aid of an alarm clock (don’t you love that?) and felt rested and ready to take on the day. After a breakfast sandwich served with a side of coffee and last night’s episode of “The Soup” I hit the farmer’s market in search of produce. The market at Marion Square in downtown Charleston is excellent! I wish I had pictures to show you, but I have yet to replace the camera I lost in Thailand (boo). I stuffed my bag (yes, bringing your own bag is essential) with a zucchini, tomato, yellow pepper, two peaches, and a bag of fresh made ricotta and mascarpone gnocchi (insert drool here) with accompanying tomato basil sauce. Nom nom.

I came home with my fine goods and a Diet Dr. Pepper to tackle the last forty pages of The Scarlet Letter. I just finished this nineteenth century piece and am giving myself a little break to head to grocery store and pick up the remaining items on my list. How’s that for domesticity?!

After a productive day (and it’s not even over yet!) I have decided to treat myself to a flick tonight. Not sure what your agenda is for the evening, but I have a hot date with these dudes:
