Sunday is made for brunch. Big brunch. Brunch at Cafe Luna with a monster breakfast sandwich on a grilled biscuit, a lobster and avocado omelet and the best home fries that have ever been made. E-v-e-r. Oh, yes, and goblets of mimosa and bellini.
What else are girls supposed to do after a massive indulgence but trip around Harvard? We walked around the campus and Cambridge, and after we were finished being intellectuals we took our wandering feet downtown and visited many a shop. Court and I concluded our exhausting day in the North End for some out-of-bounds Italian food. We shared goat cheese and wild mushrooms spring rolls, gnocchi with sweet sausage, broccoli rabe, wild mushrooms, in a plum tomato sauce, and goat cheese ravioli with duck confit, dried cranberries, more wild mushrooms and a basil pesto sauce. I don’t have pictures of the meal, but that’s really for your safety: I wouldn’t want you to harm your computer screen.
